Memphis Based Dedicated Music Group Introduces New Urban Contemporary Artist D.MCGHEE

Talking about taking Gospel Music to a whole new level, the Memphis, TN based Record Company, does that and more! Long gone are the days of categorizing "God's Music" into neat compartments to fit the mindset and expectations of the few. His music and worship is for the many... not the chosen or select few and this innovative fusion of Christian, "tasteful" Hip Hop and daunting melody is just what the Doctor ordered. Memphis based Urban music label Dedicated Music Group (DMG) has developed an evidential brand for its Christian Hip Hop Music, impactful Urban Ministry, mass Guerilla Marketing and signature Kingdom Swag. Founded by one of Christian Hip Hop’s pioneering rap moguls, Delmar Lawrence (Mr. Del), DMG introduces its newest label addition and music sensation D. MCGHEE. D. MCGHEE (Danielle McGhee) is another Memphis native who is stepping into Gospel and Christian music as a solo artist. Considered a new artist, yes, but D. McGhee was groomed for gospel music through her early years of singing with the Tennessee Mass Choir, Darrel Petties and Strength in Praise and many years of background work for Karen Clark Sheard, James Moore, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Darwin Hobbs and Jennifer Holiday. Her affectionate and pure contemporary worship bravura, mixed with a unique urban contemporary blaze, topped off with a sizzle of Hip Hop has D. McGhee poised to take her place in the music industry as a fruitful solo artist. D. McGhee's new "Holy Ghost" single lyrically attests to the overwhelming convicting power of the Holy Spirit, while the video transports the viewer into a no holds barred praise party blast! Joined by Mr. Del and DMG label mates in the "Holy Ghost" video, D. McGhee delivers a flawless vocal performance and gives a taste of her passion for fashion, and trendy classy style. "D. McGhee is a worshipper and an awesome talent," says DMG CEO Delmar Lawrence. "She brings a style and grace with an urban appeal that gives worship a mainstream flava!" "Holy Ghost" is the first single release from D. McGhee's debut release THE MIXTAPE which is available on iTunes now. THE MIXTAPE project represents D. McGhee's love and ability for various styles of music. "Yahweh" is a beautiful worship ballad, while "Kingdom Life" is all urban groove. D. McGhee adds a throwback joint "Where U R" that reflects the 70's disco and soul era of music. The songstress penned most of her project and garnered the noted production skills of David Gillard (LaShun Pace, Vincent Tharpe, Earnest Pugh), Marque Walker (Jekalyn Carr, Sheri Jones-Moffett, Kevin Davidson) and Darryl Pruitt, Jr. (Angie Stone, Lalah Hathaway, Chrisette Michele). D. McGhee's got 'Tha Holy Ghost' and says her music is a new mix of essence for the Gospel and Christian music genre. "I'm representing Christ every day and every time I step out, whether it's ministering, performing or most important, in my personal life," says D. "I want to bring a different sound to Gospel and Christian music and also let people know you can be fashionably trendy doing it!" Expect to see more of D. McGhee in Gospel Music! "LYNN'S ANGELS - THE TRUE STORY OF E. LYNN HARRIS AND THE WOMEN WHO LOVED HIM"

-- Judge Vanessa Gilmore pens inspiring true life story about the life of the late author, E. Lynn Harris -- Lynn’s Angels – The True Story of E. Lynn Harris and the Women Who Loved Him by Vanessa D. Gilmore tells the remarkable story of more than thirty years of friendship between the late author E. Lynn Harris and the five women who comprised the family that he invented for himself that he called "Lynn’s Angels". These women were with him as he struggled with his own identity, during his darkest days, as he began to be true to himself, as he found his voice, as he climbed the ladder of success, when he found love, as he reached the pinnacle of his career and sadly, as he left this earth. Through a series of personal accounts, letters and pictures and video, the stories in this book reveal a side of E. Lynn Harris that the public rarely saw: friend, uncle, father, son, fraternity brother and fanatical Razorback fan. Ultimately, it shows that what really makes a family is love. Even for those who are not familiar with E. Lynn Harris, this book touches on the universal concept of voluntary kinship and can help others appreciate the significance of their own invented families. Lynn's Angels will motivate readers to create lasting records of their own legacies of friendship and love with the people who chose to become their angels. Because the book contains video as well as more than 200 pictures, it is available as an e-book only on all e-book platforms including Amazon-Kindle, Barnes&Noble - Nook, Apple - iBooks and on Vook.com. Published by Vook. $7.99. About the Author: Judge, author, mother are just some of the ways to describe this renaissance woman. After a first career as a fashion buyer, Judge Vanessa Gilmore decided to undertake a career in law after representing herself and winning a minor civil lawsuit. In 1994 when she was sworn in, she was then the youngest sitting federal judge in the nation. Her meteoric rise left her little time for a personal life. Unwilling to give up her desire to parent, she adopted her son. Motivated in part by her own experiences and those of other women and families who struggle with work/life integration, she decided to write about adoption in her fiction novel, "Saving the Dream". Gilmore is also the author of "You Can’t Make This Stuff Up: Tales from a Judicial Diva", a humorous autobiographical look at her life on and off the bench and "A Boy Named Rocky", a book for the children of incarcerated parents. Judge Gilmore is a frequent speaker and lecturer on issues related to these children and their families Judge Gilmore is a master storyteller and is a favorite and sought after speaker for community groups and organizations and also does voiceover work under the name "Voices by Vanessa". She is the recipient of numerous civic awards for community service and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, the Links, Inc., and Jack and Jill of America. She serves on the boards of Inprint (a literary arts organization that works to inspire readers and writers) and on the Board of Trustees for Hampton University.
